Biografía del autor

Nació en Londres en 1976 y estudió Filología Inglesa e Historia en la Universidad de Cardiff. Simultanea su trabajo como editor con su carrera como autor especializado en historia social, política y economía, y durante veinte años ha sido colaborador de The Statesmanx{0026} x02019;s Yearbook, una guía geopolítica mundial que se publica anualmente desde 1854.<br> Smith, quien hasta la fecha ha escrito más de treinta títulos de no-ficción tanto para adultos como para niños y ha sido guionista de dos premiados podcasts sobre historia, es además miembro de la Sociedad de Autores y de la Asociación de Escritores de Novela Negra del Reino Unido. Vive en el este de Londres con su esposa y sus dos hijos.
