Biografía del autor

El profesor Edward Bullmore ha publicado más de quinientos artículos científicos y es uno de los científicos más citados del mundo en neurociencia y psiquiatría.<br> Bullmore se licenció en Medicina Clínica en la Universidad de Oxford y en Cirugía en la universidad del St. Bartholomew's Hospital de Londres. Posteriormente, se especializó en psiquiatría primero en el hospital St. Georgex{0026} x02019;s y luego en los hospitales Bethlem Royal y Maudsley y acabó doctorándose de la materia en el King's College de Londres.<br> En 1999 se incorporó a la Universidad de Cambridge como profesor de Psiquiatría, donde desde 2014 es además jefe de Departamento. Ha sido Miembro de la Academia de Ciencias Médicas y del Royal College de Psiquiatría y actualmente es vicepresidente de Medicina Experimental en GlaxoSmithKline e investigador sénior del National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).
