Philologue et philosophe, Barbara Cassin est directrice de recherches au C.N.R.S. et spécialiste de philosophie grecque. Elle a dirigé le Vocabulaire Européen des Philosophies, Dictionnaire des Intraduisibles (Seuil/Le Robert, 2004), aujourd'hui en cours de traduction-adaptation en ukrainien, anglais, espagnol, portugais, roumain, arabe, russe et persan.<br>Barbara Cassin a publié notamment Vérité, réconciliation, réparation (Seuil, 2004, sur l'Afrique du Sud) ; Google-moi. La deuxième mission de l'Amérique (Albin-Michel, 2007) ; Avec le plus petit et le plus inapparent des corps (Fayard, 2007) ; Heidegger, le nazisme, les femmes, la philosophie et Il n'y a pas de rapport sexuel, deux leçons sur "L'Etourdit" de Lacan avec Alain Badiou (Fayard, 2010). Elle a contribué à fonder le Réseau des femmes-philosophes à l'UNESCO.<br>Barbara Cassin es directora de investigaciones en el CNRS. Filóloga y filósofa, es especialista en la Grecia antigua y en la obra de los sofistas. Dirigió el proyecto de investigación que culminó en el libro Vocabulaire européen des philosophies: dictionnaire des intraduisibles (2004). Publicó numerosos libros. Entre ellos: El efecto sofistico y Googléame, publicados en castellano por Fondo de Cultura Económica y editó Nuestros griegos y sus modernos. Estrategias contemporáneas de apropiación de la Antigüedad (1992) publicado por Manantial. Entre sus libros no traducidos están Le plaisir de parler (1986), La décision du sens (con Michel Narcy, 1989), Aristote et le logos (1997), Voir Héléne en toute femme: d'Homére a Lacan (2000).
