Biografía del autor

Nació en Malawi. Su madre era belga y su padre surafricano. Se trasladaron a Inglaterra cuando ella tenía tres años, se crió en Wimbledon y estudió en la Lady Margaret School. Se graduó en bioquímica en la Universidad de Oxford y, posteriormente, trabajó en un bufete de abogados. Después de la muerte de su padre, decidió tomarse un año sabático, y aprovechó para viajar por Francia y América, y escribió su primer libro, x{0026}lt;ix{0026}gt;Without Charityx{0026}lt;/ix{0026}gt;. Cuando regresó, dejo la abogacía para dedicarse exclusivamente a la escritura. Con x{0026}lt;ix{0026}gt;Hermano lobo x{0026}lt;/ix{0026}gt;(2004) inauguró una serie de cinco novelas ambientada en la prehistoria que ha cosechado un gran éxito en todo el mundo.
