Elise Broach (Atlanta, 1963) está licenciada en Historia por la Universidad de Yale. Es la autora de la aclamada novela Shakespeare;s Secret así como de varios libros ilustrados, entre ellos Masterpiece (2008), que publicará Siruela y que fue seleccionado por The New York Times en su lista de bestsellers 2010. Sus proyectos de escritura la han llevado varias veces a los desiertos del suroeste estadounidense. Actualmente vive en Easton, Connecticut, donde escribe y trabaja para el gobierno de la ciudad.
