Also, it's about a teenage girl who pulls together a ragtag crew to commit mayhem in the San Francisco Bay, while her hapless father tries to get her home.

Biografía del autor

Daniel Handler nació en San Francisco en 1970. Autor de los libros infantiles de Una serie de catastróficas desdichas, escrita bajo el seudónimo de Lemony Snicket y llevada a la gran pantalla en 2004 con Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep y Dustin Hoffman, su faceta como escritor de novelas para adultos es menos conocida en España, aunque vuelca en ellas la misma capacidad para la comedia y el horror.
