Biografía del autor

R. A. Salvatore nació en Massachussetts en 1959. Su interés por la literatura fantástica empezó cuando le regalaron un ejemplar de El Señor de los Anillos. Dedicó sus estudios al periodismo y a la literatura, y comenzó a escribir en 1982. Su primera novela fue La Piedra de Cristal y es conocido sobre todo por la creación del personaje de Drizzt, protagonista de esta serie de Reinos Olvidados.
