Biografía del autor

Dan Fesperman (Charlotte, Carolina del Norte, 1955) es reportero de The Baltimore Sun. Durante la guerra de los Balcanes fue corresponsal de este diario en las oficinas de Berlín. Su primera novela, Lie in the Dark, ganó el premio John Creasey de la Asociación de Escritores de Novela Negra a la mejor primera novela policíaca de 1999. A la que siguió El barco de los grandes pesares, ganadora del Ian Fleming Steel Dagger al mejor thriller en 2003. De Fesperman RBA también ha publicado El prisionero de Guantánamo, ganador del Hammett Award en 2006 y seleccionado como el mejor thriller del año 2006 por USA Today.
