In unserem Nachbarland Polen haben zahlreiche Straßenbahnbetriebe der ersten Generation überlebt, darunter große Netze wie in Warschau, Krakau, Posen, Lodz, Breslau oder die Straßenbahn im oberschlesischen Industriegebiet rund um Kattowitz. In Olsztyn (Allenstein) entstand 2015 sogar ein völlig neuer Betrieb. Dieses Buch gibt einen aktuellen Überblick sowohl aller polnischen Straßenbahn- als auch Obusbetriebe, von denen es allerdings ohnehin nur drei gibt. Mit dabei ist natürlich auch die einzige U-Bahn des Landes in der Hauptstadt Warschau.
