Biografía del autor

Christie Watson (Stevenage, Hertfordshire, Reino Unido) se formó como enfermera pediátrica en el Hospital Great Ormond Street de Londres, y trabajó como enfermera, docente y enfermera jefe durante diez años, antes de matricularse en la Universidad de East Anglia para cursar un máster en Escritura Creativa. Allí ganó la Beca Malcolm Bradbury. El frágil vuelo de los pájaros, su primera novela, fue galardonada con el prestigioso Costa First Novel Award 2011; además de cosechar un gran éxito de crítica y ventas en Reino Unido, Estados Unidos y Nigeria, será publicada en breve en distintos idiomas. Christie Watson vive en el sur de Londres con su compañero ;nigeriano y musulmán; y su hija, y ultima su segunda novela mientras sigue trabajando como enfermera.
