rupi kaur es una escritora y artista de Toronto (Canadá). Siendo estudiante universitaria, con veintiún años, escribió, ilustró y autoeditó su primer poemario, otras maneras de usar la boca (Seix Barral, 2018), que acabaría convirtiéndose en un éxito internacional. A este le seguiría el sol y sus flores (Seix Barral, 2018), con el que se consolidó como un referente de su generación.
