Biografía del autor

Ángel Manuel Faerna, catedrático de Filosofía de la Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, es especialista en pragmatismo clásico y contemporáneo. Autor de diversos libros y ensayos sobre la teoría pragmatista del conocimiento, ha traducido obras de George Santayana (Escepticismo y fe animal, 2011) y Richard Rorty (Verdad y progreso. Escritos filosóficos 3, 2000). Fue codirector del volumen colectivo John Dewey. Una estética de este mundo (Prensas de la Universidad de Zaragoza, 2018) y editor y traductor de las antologías de Dewey Teoría de la valoración. Un debate con el positivismo sobre la dicotomía de hechos y valores (2008) y La miseria de la epistemología. Ensayos de pragmatismo (2000).
