Henry Buckley (1904-1972) fue uno de los reporteros más brillantes de una generación de corresponsales anglosajones que redefinieron el periodismo de guerra. En 1929 llegó a España, donde permaneció hasta el final de la guerra civil española como corresponsal de The Daily Telegraph. Durante la segunda guerra mundial cubrió toda la campaña del norte de África y la invasión aliada de Italia. Fue director de la agencia de noticias Reuters en España, donde murió en 1972.
