Thomas Asbridge es un académico, escritor y presentador de radio y televisión británico, célebre por su faceta como historiador medieval. En 2012, escribió y presentó un documental sobre las cruzadas en la BBC basado en su obra cumbre, Las cruzadas, que lo consagró como uno de los historiadores jóvenes más destacados de la década.
