x{0026}lt;p Lawrence Freedman ha sido profesor de Estudios Bélicos en el Kingx{0026} x02019;s College de Londres desde 1982, y vicerrector desde 2003. Elegido miembro de la British Academy en 1995 y condecorado como CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) en 1996 fue designado en 1997 como Historiador Oficial de la Guerra de las Malvinas (Falklands). Fue galardonado en 2003 con el título de KCMG (Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George. Desde 2009 ha trabajado en la Investigación Oficial del Reino Unido sobre la Guerra de Irak.
