The Deptford Mice have escaped the horrors of Jupiter's lair and sought refuge in the countryside with a colony of fieldmice, busy preparing for the great summer festival. But soon the Deptford Mice must face terrifying evil once more, as a series of mysterious crimes strike the peaceful fieldmouse community. At first the simple country rodents suspect Deptford newcomer Audrey - however, the truth turns out to be far more sinister.
