Nació en París en 1978. Tras formarse en bellas artes ingresó en la escuela Pivaut de Nantes y posteriormente en la escuela de animación de Gobelins. En 2003 ganó un premio del Festival de Angulema al mejor guión por su primera serie, x{0026} x02018;Las pobres aventuras de Jeremíasx{0026} x02019; Y en 2010 volvió a ser galardonado en ese evento, esta vez al mejor álbum por el tercer tomo de la historieta satírica x{0026} x02018;Pascal Brutalx{0026} x02019;. x{0026} x02018;La Vida secreta de los jóvenesx{0026} x02019;, x{0026} x02018;Los cuadernos de Estherx{0026} x02019; y, sobre todo, los cuatro volúmenes de x{0026} x02018;El árabe del futurox{0026} x02019; ( mejor álbum en Angoulema) son sus grandes éxitos en España y en más de veinte paises.
