Biografía del autor

John LeFevre desarrolló una exitosa y fulgurante carrera en el mundo de las finanzas al conseguir, nada más terminar la universidad, una de las 350 plazas vacantes en Salomon Brothers. Trabajó también para Citigroup en Nueva York, Londres y Hong Kong, ciudades en las que se sitúan la mayoría de vivencias que relata en el libro. En 2010 fue contratado por Goldman Sachs para ocupar un cargo en Asia al que finalmente no accedió debido a un problema contractual. En 2011 empezó a publicar de forma anónima en Twitter, en la cuenta @GSElevator, los trapos sucios de ese mundillo que tan bien conocía. Actualmente vive retirado del mundo de la banca.
