Just when he is about to close a deal that will save his company from going under, Joanes has to travel to the Riviera Maya to attend his father-in-laws second wedding. Once there, he is forced to leave the hotel ahead of an incoming hurricane, and on his trip toward safer ground, he has a chance encounter with an old college professor, whom he blames for the failure of his career. p Jon Bilbao (Ribadesella, 1972) es ingeniero de minas y licenciado en Filología Inglesa. Es autor de los libros de cuentos i Como una historia de terror /i (2008; Premio Ojo Crítico de Narrativa), i Bajo el influjo del cometa /i (2010; Premio Tigre Juan y Premio Euskadi de Literatura) y i Física familiar /i (2014), que Impedimenta recupera en esta colección junto con tres relatos inéditos. De los inicios de su carrera literaria cabe destacar también las novelas i El hermano de las moscas /i (2008), i Padres, hijos y primates /i (2011; Premio Otras Voces, Otros Ámbitos) y i Shakespeare y la ballena blanca /i (2013).
