Biografía del autor

Alice McDermott nació en el barrio neoyorquino de Brooklyn en 1953 y creció en Long Island. Residió durante un tiempo en La Jolla y trabajó como profesora en la Universidad de California, San Diego. En la actualidad vive en las afueras de Washington.
