Biografía del autor

Walter de la Mare alternó la escritura de poesía con la ficción. Publicó la obra de tema feérico Crossings (1921), la antología de poesía infantil Come Hither (1923) que le dio fama en su tierra, así como The Burning Glass (1945) o Inward Companion (1950), además de ensayos sobre autores como Rupert Brooke o Lewis Carroll.
