"Red Red Shoes" is a modern adaptation of the fairytale set in Bosnia, and England, involving dance and drama. The heroine struggles to find her identity following the trauma of war. "Eye of the Storm" is a modern retelling of "The Tempest" exploring the father/daughter relationship and attitudes to gender.

"Playing from the Heart" portrays the trials of the young Evelyn Glennie to become a percussionist, despite her profound deafness. This is an opportunity for movement, music and text to be combined in performance. This book is intended for age 8 and over.
