Christof, Christophe, Christopher and Cristofol are four brothers - sons of the same father and four very different mothers, yet none of them knows of the others' existence. They live in Frankfurt, Paris, London and Barcelona. Their father, Gabriel Delacruz - a truck driver - abandoned them when they were little and has never been heard from again. Then one day, Cristofol is contacted by the police: his father is officially a missing person. This fact leads him to discover that he has three half-brothers, and the four young men come together for the first time. Two decades have passed since their father last saw any of them. They barely remember what he was like, but they decide to look for him to resolve their doubts. Why did he abandon them? Why do all four have the same name? Did he intend for them to meet? Divided by geography yet united by blood, the Cristobales set out on a quest that is at once painful, hilarious and extraordinary. x{0026}lt;p (Manlleu, 1967) estudió Filología Románi ca en la Universidad de Barcelona. Ha trabajado para diversas editoriales barcelonesas y ha codirigido la colección de lírica medieval La flor inversa . Entre sus libros destacan dos volúmenes de relatos y una novela. Los dos libros de cuentos son Piel de armadi llo, Premi de la Crítica Serra dx{0026} x02019;Or, y Animales tristes, finalista del Premi Llibreter, que confirmó su madurez literaria y fue objeto de una versión cinematográfica de la mano del director Ventura Pons. Maletas perdi das, su única novela hasta el momento, tuvo una ex traordinaria acogida tanto en catalán como en caste llano, y ganó el Premi Llibreter, el Premi de la Crítica, el Lletra dx{0026} x02019;Or y el Joaquim Amat-Piniella. Ha traduci do a autores como Daniel Pennac, Amélie Nothomb y Paul Auster, y es colaborador habitual en prensa es crita y radio. Está considerado una de las voces más interesantes en el panorama narrativo en lengua cata lana.x{0026}lt;/p
