Biografía del autor

Rohan O'Grady nació en Vancouver en 1922. No empezó a escribir hasta que tuvo casi cuarenta años, pero entre 1961 y 1970 publicó cuatro novelas entre las que destaca Matemos al tío (1963), que está considerada una de las más importantes novelas góticas del XX y un clásico de culto. Un título mítico también por la legendaria portada de Edward Gorey, que se había convertido en objeto de coleccionista. Tras tres décadas de oscuridad, O'Grady volvió al primer plano de la actualidad tras un artículo aparecido en 2009 en la prestigiosa revista The Believer, en la que la consideraba un tesoro perdido de la literatura en lengua inglesa del pasado siglo.
