Rebecca Miller (Roxbury, Connecticut, 1962) es una prestigiosa y afamada escritora, actriz, guionista y directora de cine. Su libro de relatos Velocidad personal, cuya adaptación ella misma llevó a la gran pantalla, le valió el Gran Premio del Jurado del Festival de Sundance, su primera novela Las vidas privadas de Pippa Lee, también fue llevada al cine por la autora. Su filmografía incluye además Angela y La balada de Jack y Rose.
