Biografía del autor

Roy Scranton (Estados Unidos, 1976). Es un escritor y pensador estadounidense, colaborador habitual de publicaciones como 'The New York Times', 'Rolling Stone' o 'Dissent'. Creció en una familia de clase trabajadora en Oregón, abandonó la universidad y pasó sus primeros años de madurez vagando por el Oeste americano. Más tarde se alistó en el Ejército y sirvió durante casi dos años en el frente. Tras su regreso, completó su licenciatura y obtuvo su doctorado en la Universidad de Princeton. Aprender a vivir y a morir en el Antropoceno fue su primer libro y resultó seleccionado para el prestigioso volumen antológico Best American Science and Nature Writing . Actualmente es profesor de Escritura Creativa y Literatura de Naturaleza en la Universidad de Notre Dame. Entre sus libros cabe destacar también War Porn (2016) y Wex{0026} x02019;re Doomed. Now What?: Essays on War and Climate Change (2018).
