Frieda Hughes (Londres, 1960). Pintora y poeta, ha publicado ocho volúmenes de poesía, además de varios libros para niños, artículos para revistas y periódicos y fue columnista del 'Times Poetry'. Como pintora, expone regularmente en Londres y tiene una exposición permanente en su galería privada de Gales, donde reside con catorce búhos, dos huskies rescatados, un terrier maltés, cinco chinchillas, un hurón y una pitón real.
