Biografía del autor

John Connolly (Dublín, 1968) estudió filología inglesa en el Trinity College y periodismo en la Dublin City University. Reside en Dublín, pero pasa parte del año en Estados Unidos, donde se desarrollan la mayoría de sus obras. Es autor de la novela Malvados, de los volúmenes de relatos de terror titulados Nocturnos y Música nocturna, y del bellísimo El libro de las cosas perdidas, así como de la serie de novelas policiacas protagonizadas por el detective Charlie Parker, formada por Todo lo que muere (Shamus Award 1999, finalista del Bram Stoker Award y del Barry Award 1999), El poder de las tinieblas, Perfil asesino, El camino blanco (Barry Award 2003), El ángel negro, Los atormentados, Los Hombres de la Guadaña, Los amantes, Voces que susurran, Más allá del espejo, Cuervos, La ira de los ángeles, El invierno del lobo, La canción de las sombras, Tiempos oscuros, El frío de la muerte, La mujer del bosque, Antigua sangre, En lo más profundo del sur y Tumbas sin nombre.
