Adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic novel. David Copperfield looks back on the first quarter of his life. He is only eight years old when his mother, an attractive and young widow, remarries. Unfortunately, Mr. Murdstone turns out to be a bad father and husband. David is sent to school and returns home when the tragedy takes place. Unloved and unwanted, he is sent to work in a factory. However, David is an ingenious boy and decides to find a way to a better life.
