Biografía del autor

Nació en Brístol en 1956. Ha escrito tres libros de relatos y ocho novelas. Publicó su primer libro con 46 años, y desde entonces su reputación literaria y el aprecio de los lectores no han dejado de crecer. Su obra ha recibido el Premio Windham Campbell y el Premio Hawthornden. En Sexto Piso hemos publicado Lo que queda de luz (2021), Amor libre (2022), El pasado (2024) y La fiesta (2025).
