Helen Fielding es una escritora y periodista británica. Tras estudiar Literatura en Oxford, trabajó para la BBC y colaboró con distintos medios. Es la autora de " El diario de Bridget Jones " , " El diario de Bridget Jones: Sobreviviré " y " Bridget Jones: Loca por él " . El personaje nació de una conocida columna diaria en prensa en la que Helen Fielding contaba el día a día de una joven treintañera que vivía sola en Londres. Helen Fielding también formó parte del equipo de guionistas de las conocidas películas basadas en dichos libros. " Bridget Jones's Baby: Los diarios " es su sexta novela.
