Biografía del autor

Soy londinense y desde muy temprana edad ya quería escribir e ilustrar libros. Me gustaba leer, hacer manualidades, dibujar, escribir y trepar a los árboles y no he cambiado mucho. Fui a la universidad de Warwick y estudié Escritura Creativa e Inglés. Cuando era adolescente y durante mi etapa de adulta joven, escribía principalmente poemas. Pero nunca dejé de leer libros ilustrados o hacer garabatos, y empecé a estudiar ilustración de cuentos infantiles en la Escuela de Arte de Cambridge, donde terminé el máster en 2013. Justo después empecé a trabajar con Walker Books. También he escrito e ilustrado cómics para la revista LOAF. Mi trabajo ha aparecido en tarjetas de felicitación, camisetas, calendarios de advientos y hasta un carrito ambulante de café. He dirigido muchos talleres infantiles de ilustración y he dado clases también a adultos y adolescentes. Todas mis ilustraciones comienzan como diminutos dibujos a pluma y tinta, y a partir de ellos, los amplío y hago serigrafías para los libros ilustrados.
