Rosanne Parry es autora de varias novelas, entre las que destacan Un lobo llamado Wander y a A Whale of the Wild . Su trabajo como profesora de Escritura Creativa le ha llevado a dar conferencias en escuelas y centros de enseñanza a lo largo del país. Vive en una granja rehabilitada con su familia en Portland, Oregon. Hace años construyó una casa en el árbol más grande de su jardín y desde ese maravilloso lugar escribe todas sus novelas.
