Biografía del autor

Pensador heterodoxo y maestro indiscutible del aforismo, Emil Cioran nació en la región rumana de Transilvania en 1911 y falleció en París en 1995. Estudió filosofía en Bucarest y, tras una corta estancia en Berlín, recaló en París en 1937, donde se instaló hasta el final de sus días. En 2020, Tusquets Editores inició la exitosa Biblioteca Emil Cioran, con doce volúmenes publicados hasta el momento y en la que destacan títulos como la edición completa de los Cuadernos. 1957-1972 o el hasta ahora inédito Ventana a la nada.
