Biografía del autor

Martyn Lyons es profesor emérito de Historia en la Universidad de Nueva Gales del Sur de Sidney. Publicó varios libros y artículos sobre historia de la lectura y la escritura en Europa y Australia como, por ejemplo, Una historia de la lectura y la escritura en el mundo occidental, La cultura de la escritura de la gente común en Europa, c.1860-1920, ambos publicados en español por Ampersand, donde también publicó El siglo de la máquina de escribir y compiló, junto a Rita Marquilhas, el volumen Un mundo de escrituras.
