Tony Crilly es Profesor Emérito en Ciencias Exactas en la Universidad de Middlesex, previamente ejerció la docencia en la universidad de Michigan, en la City University de Hong Kong y en la Open University. Su principal interés en investigación es la historia de las matemáticas, ha escrito y editado muchos trabajos de fractales, caos y computación.
