x{0026}lt;P x{0026}lt;B Florian Illiesx{0026}lt;/B nació en 1971. Estudió Historia del Arte en Bonn y Oxford, y en 1997 empezó a trabajar como redactor del suplemento literario del periódico Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. De 1999 a 2001 estuvo al frente de la sección berlinesa de dicho diario. Posteriormente, fue director del suplemento literario de la edición dominical del mismo y cofundador y director de la revista de arte Monopol. En 2008 aceptó ponerse al frente del suplemento literario de Die Zeit. En la actualidad Illies es socio de la casa de subastas berlinesa Villa Grisebach, donde es responsable del arte del siglo XIX. Es autor de cuatro libros de no ficción, de los que ha vendido más de un millón de ejemplares.x{0026}lt;/P
