X: on the Road & at the Crossroads

As described in my portfolio X The Band, I began photographing X in 1980 and went on three tours, including their very first, as photographer and part-time driver. I continued photographing X around Los Angeles over the years and during four shows in October 2024 in Texas during their The End is Near tour. I then approached Perceval Press in Santa Monica, California with a proposal to publish an art book covering forty-four years of my best photographs of the band, with a foreward by esteemed music journalist Chris Morris.
