It's the biggest weekend of the year and everything is about to change. In Ballina, the simmering feud between small-time drug-dealer Cillian English and County Mayo's enforcers, Gabe and Sketch Ferdia, spills over into violence and an ugly ultimatum. Biografía del autor

Colin Barrett (1982) nació en Canadá pero pasó su infancia y adolescencia en Knockmore, un pueblo del condado de Mayo (Irlanda). Debutó en 2013 con el aclamado libro de relatos Glanbeigh, publicado en una decena de países y galardonado con el Guardian First Book Award y el Frank Ox{0026} x02019;Connor International Short Story Award, entre otros premios. Es también autor de la colección de relatos Morriña y de la novela Casas de locos, ganadora del Nero Book Award al mejor debut y nominada al prestigioso Premio Booker en 2024.
