x{0026}lt;p Temple Grandin (1947), doctora por la Universidad de Illinois, no habló hasta los tres años y medio, y comunicaba su frustración con gritos, llantos y tarareos. En 1950 le diagnosticaron autismo y dijeron a sus padres que debían ingresarla en una institución.
