Alain Badiou (Rabat, Protectorado francés de Marruecos, 1937) es un filósofo, dramaturgo y novelista francés. Profesor emérito en la Escuela Normal Superior (ENS) de Francia, es uno de los pensadores contemporáneos más influyentes en el debate público. Es autor de libros que se han transformado en clásicos como 'El ser y el acontecimiento' y 'Lógicas de los mundos'.
