Biografía del autor

Annie Ernaux nació en 1940 en la región francesa de Normandía. Creció en la pequeña localidad de Yvetot y estudió literatura en la Universidad de Ruán. Profesora de esa asignatura en liceos de Annecy y de la periferia parisiense, en la actualidad vive cerca de la capital francesa y trabaja en el Centre National dx{0026} x02019;Enseignement par Correspondanse. En Tusquets Editores hemos publicado Pura pasión, La vergüenza, El acontecimiento y El lugar (Premio Renaudot, 1984). En 2019 recibió el Premio Formentor al conjunto de su obra.
