Judih Kerr (Berlín, 1923 Londres, 2019) fue una de las figuras más destacadas de la literatura infantil británica. Escritora e ilustradora, creó algunos de los álbumes más queridos del siglo XX, entre ellos El tigre que vino a tomar el té y la popular serie protagonizada por el gato Mog. A lo largo de su carrera recibió numerosos reconocimientos por su contribución a la literatura infantil y, en 2012, fue distinguida con la Order of the British Empire (OBE) por sus servicios a la literatura y a la educación. Sus libros, traducidos a múltiples idiomas, siguen acompañando a generaciones de lectores en todo el mundo.
