Autora de llibres per a nens de totes les edats, amb més de 50 llibres publicats a tot el món. Ha treballat com a bibliotecària, editora web i gerent d'extensió d'una universitat. Dibuixar i escriure va ser tan sols un passatemps, fins que va tenir fills, per la qual cosa va deixar el seu treball a temps complet i va començar a tenir idees i a escriure-les. Va publicar el seu primer llibre il-lustrat e 2013 i no ha parat des de llavors. A més d'escriure, li encanta visitar col-legis per a compartir el seu treball i gestiona tallers literaris.
