Biografía del autor

Albert Camus nació en Argelia en 1913, en una paupérrima familia de emigrantes. Escribió libros tan fundamentales en nuestra cultura como La peste o El extranjero, por los que recibió en 1957 el Premio Nobel de Literatura. Falleció prematuramente en 1960, en un accidente de circulación, poco después de declarar a un periodista: Mi obra aún no ha empezado .
