Biografía del autor

Jean-Baptiste Fressoz (1977) es un historiador francés especializado en historia ambiental, ciencia y tecnología. Es profesor en la Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées y anteriormente en el Imperial College de Londres. También es miembro investigador del Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) y el Centre de Recherches Historiques de la EHESS en París. Sus estudios analizan el Antropoceno, el cambio climático y las transiciones energéticas. Como autor ha publicado Lx{0026} x02019;Apocalypse joyeuse (2012), Lx{0026} x02019;Événement Anthropocène (2013), Les révoltes du ciel (2020) y Sin transición (2025), por el que ha recibido numerosos premios de prestigio internacional. Además de su labor académica, colabora con Le Monde en una columna mensual.
