P B Hisashi Kashiwai /B (Kioto, 1952) estudió Odontología en la Universidad de Osaka. Tras licenciarse, regresó a su ciudad natal para ejercer como dentista. Ha escrito todo tipo de libros sobre Kioto y colaborado en programas de televisión y revistas.
