Kahlil Gibran (Líbano, 1883 x{0026} x02013; Nueva York, 1931) fue poeta, pintor, novelista y ensayista. En el mundo árabe, a pesar de haber escrito buena parte de su obra en inglés, está considerado como el genio de su época.
