Biografía del autor

David Levithan (Nueva Jersey, 1972) ganó el reconocimiento de la crítica con su primera novela juvenil, Chico conoce a chico (Nocturna, 2018), que obtuvo el premio Lambda. Desde entonces, ha publicado muchas novelas de gran éxito, como Cada día (2012), Dos chicos besándose (Nocturna, 2016) y El sueño de Tiny Cooper (2015), además de varias en colaboración con otros escritores, entre ellos John Green -Will Grayson, Will Grayson (2010)- y Rachel Cohn -Nick y Norah (2006)-. En Ryan y Avery (Nocturna, 2024) retorna con dos personajes de Dos chicos besándose para desarrollar la historia autoconclusiva de su relación. Por su trayectoria literaria ha ganado el premio Margaret Edwards, concedido por la Asociación de Bibliotecas de Estados Unidos. Además de escritor, es editor de Scholastic, donde ha publicado series como Los juegos del hambre.
