Biografía del autor

Nació en Enniskerry, Irlanda, en 1966. Estudió Filología Alemana y Francesa en la University College de Dublín y Periodismo en la Dublin City University, y posteriormente trabajó como periodista durante más de una década. Su primera novela, x{0026}lt;i The Undertakingx{0026}lt;/i , publicada en 2014, fue finalista del Womenx{0026} x02019;s Prize for Fiction y del Irish Book Award, distinción que también recibió su segunda novela, x{0026}lt;i La coloniax{0026}lt;/i , que fue además finalista del Orwell Prize y candidata al Premio Booker.
